A GPS Project
Introduction:
This website is mostly about GPS locations for Cemeteries and Landmarks of our Amish and Mennonite forefathers. It is a website "under development" and will grow as more information is gathered.
Contributions are welcome. Use the "Contact us" button, bottom right on this page, to send us your information about other burial places.
We are looking for GPS coordinates of burial sites and other landmarks which are of interest to those researching Amish and Mennonite family history. There is a strong bias to families interconnected with Kauffman/Coffman families. We are also looking for websites that relate to these cemeteries and landmarks so that links can be provided to the information.
The GPS coordinates and names will be added to the growing list of locations and landmarks, along with links to "Google Maps". When known, the latitude and longitude coordinates can be entered into the "Fly TO:" box in "Google Earth" which allows anyone to "fly" over a site and view a given place in relation to other places.
