About Jacob - 1737 ( KF11-KFC ) - A Surprise Finding

AAMG lists the following: ................. and explains the question marks:

KF-Isaac, m. Anna Streit

KF1-John

KF11- ?? Jacob
KF12- ?? John
KF13- ?? Christian
KF14- ?? Anna

KF2-Barbara
KF3-Isaac
KF4-? Stephen
KF5-? Christian
KF6-? Jacob

AAMG, page iv - "Question marks and italics have been used to indicate unproven data."

AAMG, page xxv - "One question mark means 'probably'; in ninety percent of the cases, when the problem could eventually be worked out, the surmise proved to be correct. Two question marks denote 'possibly', but evidence is stronger than a mere guess."

When tests results came back for men who thought they were descended from KF-Isaac through KF1 and KF11 there was a surprise.

They did NOT match the KF/A group. Instead they match the KFM group. (See Table 1)

This means that AAMG was not correct in its assumption. KF11-??Jacob does not belong in the list as shown on page 159 of AAMG. This set off a search for a "Jacob" who fits into the KFM cluster. It is now believed that KF11 is really KFC-Jacob, b. 1737, ancestry not known, but DNA puts KFC in the KFM cluster.
